We all interact with the world from our own unique perspective. This interaction is built up of all our past and potential future experiences and dictates how we approach situations. To be able get from where we are to where we want to be, we need to have some understanding of how we perceive our world and our place in that world.
Which is all well and good – except how exactly do we do that?
You are only limited in your vision of yourself and your future by your own internal “blinders.” My three step process, called Examine Envision Emerge, will help you get started in this journey in order to open yourself to new possibilities. At the heart of this process is something called “thought healing.” Thought healing enables you to examine your current thoughts, open up what I call “cracks in consciousness” to help you see your thoughts in a new way, and then to create new thoughts based on your own personal truth.
Step 1. Examine
Take stock of where you are now, your present circumstances, and your current thoughts and beliefs without judgment; recognize or reaffirm what you already know about yourself, whether consciously or unconsciously. To know where you want to go and determine how to get there, we must begin with determining where you are. No matter how you feel about your present circumstances, or how dire, constricting, or limiting they may appear to be, your ability to be aware of your situation, your thoughts, beliefs, assumptions, feelings, and fears nonjudgmentally is a vital first step in getting from where you are now to where you want to be.
Step 2. Envision
Give yourself permission to consider alternatives, possibilities, and options. You need to think about who you are and what you love, the things that you want to have, be, or do in your life. You need to understand where you want to be, when, why, and what the measures will be for getting there. A sense of purpose is essential to success and effectiveness. Those without a clear idea of what they are doing and why they are doing it will not have the foundation to keep going in the face of change or challenge. In this step, you learn to hear the messages in your heart, supporting you to take action and effect changes from that place of inner strength.
Step 3. Emerge
Take action to manifest new truths using your own inner guidance system that knows what’s best for you and can support you to be on purpose in your life. You need to develop momentum that will keep you moving forward towards whatever you decide is in your best and highest interest. In this step, you will learn how to transform your limiting thoughts and beliefs that no longer serve you into limitless possibilities!
